Prices shown are full à la carte rates. Subscribers receive their tier's discount applied at delivery (5% for Starter, 10% for Standard and Premium). Quoted scope items priced on engagement.
How the Member Rate Works
A discount with math behind it.
When we maintain your books year-round and run your planning quarterly, the actual prep work is faster — clean ledgers, no Q4 surprises, decisions made before December. The discount reflects that real reduction in hours, not a marketing number.
Non-subscriber tax-prep clients pay the full à la carte rate because their books typically need cleanup before prep can start, and Q4 surprises tend to surface during the return itself. Both prices are honest; they just measure different work.
Member Rate by Tier
- Starter 5% off à la carte
- Standard 10% off à la carte
- Premium 10% off à la carte
- Non-subscriber Full à la carte, capacity-permitting
Out of Scope
What isn't included.
Honest about what these prices cover and what they don't. The items below are real work we do — just priced as separate engagements so the subscription and tax-prep numbers stay honest.
- Audit defense — separate engagement, hourly
- Prior-year amendments — separate engagement, à la carte
- IRS or GA DOR notice response — separate engagement
- Cost segregation studies — referred to specialty firm
- R&D credit studies — referred to specialty firm
- Practice valuations — separate engagement, project-based
Pricing Questions
The questions worth answering before you sign up.
Why isn't tax prep included in the subscription?
Two reasons. First, tax prep is an annual deliverable — billing 1/12 of it monthly distorts the cost signal and creates exposure if a client cancels mid-year. Second, separating it lets us price for the work the return actually requires, not a bundled average. Subscribers get a member rate because integrated books and year-round planning genuinely make prep faster.
How does the subscriber discount work?
When we maintain your books and run your planning year-round, the prep itself is meaningfully less work — clean ledgers, no Q4 surprises, decisions made before December. The 5–10% discount reflects that real reduction in hours. The discount is applied against the à la carte price at delivery; non-subscribers pay the full à la carte rate, capacity-permitting.
When am I billed?
Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance, on the same calendar day each month. Tax prep is billed at delivery of the return. Engagement letters are separate documents for subscription and tax prep, so each is clear about scope.
Can I subscribe without buying tax prep?
Yes. Some clients have an existing tax preparer and only want the operating system: monthly bookkeeping, planning, and quarterly insight. That works. We coordinate with your tax preparer where helpful.
Can I buy tax prep without subscribing?
Sometimes. We accept tax-prep-only clients when capacity allows, at full à la carte pricing. Slots are limited and we reserve the right to decline during peak season. Subscribers are prioritized.
What if my situation is more complex than the standard packages?
Multi-state nexus, cost-segregation coordination, R&D credit work, or unusual ownership structures get quoted on scope. Reach out and we will give you a fixed-fee quote based on the actual work involved.
